These meditation classes, taught by Elizabeth Barrett, are particularly suitable for complete beginners. They give a practical introduction to meditation and include topics such as the benefits of meditation, mindfulness, good posture, types of meditation, and how to start a daily meditation practice. Advice is also given on how to remain peaceful in daily life by applying the meditation techniques explained in these classes. The classes conclude with light refreshments afterwards in our Cafe.
How To Attend
The classes are arranged into series that focus on different meditation topics. Underneath you will find the start dates and topics of the current and upcoming series at KMC Florida. The classes are self-contained and you can attend them on a drop-in basis (you do not have to join at the beginning of a new series).
