SUMMARY:Mandala Offering Retreat
DESCRIPTION:A mandala offering is a traditional imagined offering whereby you envision the entire universe transformed into a pure land and then mentally offer this to the Buddhas. A beautiful and creative practice\, it is an extraordinary method for generating positive energy and good fortune. Each session will be self guided and include chanted prayers and plenty of time to explore this practice of making mandala offerings. Please bring the book The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra – available for purchase in our bookstore. \nIt is important to attend the introduction\, Gen Lhadron will give the essential instructions on the mental practice of making mandala offerings as explained in the oral instructions of Mahamudra. Offering a mandala is offering the entire universe purified. It is a scientific method to attain the pure land of a Buddha and accumulate vast merit. SUMMARY:Teacher Training Program (TTP)
DESCRIPTION:The Teacher Training Program (TTP) is designed for students who wish to become qualified teachers of Modern Buddhism. There are twelve subjects and fourteen texts taught in TTP\, including the six texts taught in FP. Students are also required to observe certain commitments and to complete a number of meditation retreats each year. Enrollment must be approved by the Resident Teacher.
