Developing Authentic Self-Confidence
Saturday, October 10th, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
About This Event
Lacking self-confidence or self-esteem is something that we all experience at one time or another. If we wish to develop stable self-confidence, it cannot be based upon superficial things like status, wealth, our fitness level, or approval from others. Although these may temporarily make us feel better about ourselves, if we are unable to obtain them, or are separated from them (which is inevitable because they are impermanent), we shall soon lose our feeling of self-confidence.
On this half day course we will look at how we can use Buddhist meditation to develop an authentic and stable self-confidence based upon our massive spiritual potential.
