This weekend meditation retreat, based upon the teachings at the Kadampa Buddhist Meditation Fall Festival, will be a fantastic way to fill your heart with positive thoughts, good intentions, and Buddhist wisdom. By following a series of step by step meditations it will give you the opportunity to connect with your own potential for inner peace and happiness and equip you with special practical methods for keeping a happy & positive mind in daily life.
The focus of the retreat will be one of Buddhism’s best loved teachings ‘Eight Verses of Training The Mind’ by the famous Buddhist meditator Geshe Langri Tangpa. These eight verses reveal powerful meditations that awaken our potential for loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom. They also teach us how we can transform lifes’ difficulties into powerful spiritual insights and in a way that enables us to remain calm and positive in the face of adversity – a skill we all need to develop.
