About This Event
Bringing Hope Into the Holidays
the practice of the four immeasurables
Saturday Workshop
Now more than ever we need to bring about real positive change in our lives. To enhance our motivation to bring about real change for ourselves and others in this teaching we will explore the four immeasurables of love, compassion, joy, and equanimity. With this sublime practice we can hope for a better world for ourselves and others; there can be no better practice than this for a meaningful life.
They are called immeasurables because we practice them with all living beings as the objects of our meditation whose number is immeasurable.
May everyone be happy,
May everyone be free from misery,
May no one ever be separated from their happiness,
May everyone have equanimity, free from hatred and attachment.
