  • About This Event

    The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. For our meditation practice to be effective and yield long lasting results, there are important steps we need to take before we actually start our meditation. In this series we will learn traditional Buddhist meditation preparatory practices that enhance the power of our daily meditation practice. Taking these important steps will help our mind successfully change to be filled with joy and an inner light of wisdom.

  • The Teacher

    This event is taught by Gen Kelsang Chodor. Our resident teacher, Kelsang Chodor, is a western Buddhist Monk. Ordained in 2001, he is a close disciple of Geshe-la and has studied and practised Buddhism for many years. He is much loved for his relaxed and gentle nature and teaches with great clarity, insight and wisdom, skilfully guiding people to inner peace and happiness in their lives.
