Beginner Meditation Workshop
“Inner peace, or mental peace, is the source of all our happiness. Although all living beings have the same basic wish to be happy all the time, very few people understand the real causes of happiness.”
– How to ‘Transform Our Mind
Join us for a delightful and deeply meaningful workshop in which both new and experienced practitioners will enhance their meditation practice. A clear and concise explanation will be given of how to contemplate and to find your object of meditation. Since the object or your meditation is a virtuous one by mixing your mind with it you will experience a sense of well-being that will help you both in and out of the meditation session. In particular through becoming familiar with and enhancing our practice of holding a peaceful state of mind our daily life will become easier and we will reduce much of the causes of our stress and learn to maintain good relationships.

This event is taught by Trina Schartz. Trina has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for several years. She is a student in our Foundation Program. Trina is known for her positive attitude, boundless energy and for putting the teachings into practice and sharing her personal examples interwoven with Buddha’s Teachings.
