2020 Florida Dharma Celebration with Eastern US National Spiritual Director Kadam Morten Clausen
Teachings on How to be a Modern-day Bodhisattva with Blessing Empowerment of Avalokiteshvara

At this year’s Florida Dharma Celebration, we will learn how to become a modern-day Bodhisattva and receive the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara. Avalokiteshvara is the Buddha of compassion, the embodiment of enlightened compassion. The empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we make a direct connection with this sublime Buddha, and receive powerful blessings.

According to Buddha, the best life is that of a Bodhisattva, a person who is progressing towards the actualization of their highest potential in order to be of real benefit to everyone. Kadam Morten will give a commentary to the practice of the Buddha of compassion, focusing in particular on the development of bodhichitta. Many people might feel that such an attainment is beyond us, but Kadam Morten will show how through skillfully applying Buddha’s teachings, we can all become Bodhisattvas, and our lives can become breathtakingly meaningful, beneficial, and joyful.

For complete details of the event, including information about parking, venue, teachers, and so forth, please go to floridadharmacelebration.org.
