    Draw Closer to Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka

    A Special Close Retreat

    Introduction January 2, 6:30 – 8:30pm (pre-register for the introduction below)

    This retreat is suitable for those who have received Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment or have the sincere wish to receive HYT in the near future.

    Join us for this special close retreat where you will be able to deepen your faith and reliance upon Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka following the oral instructions that Gen-la Dekyong received directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Gen-la then passed these instructions on to our Kadampa family during the Spring International Festival 2022. Together during the retreat we will draw closer to our root Guru and create very powerful actions that will cause Kadam Dharma to flourish not only in your own heart but throughout this world. There is no better way to repay our Guru’s kindness.

    The retreat will take 3 -4 weeks to complete. Completion time will vary due to the self-guided nature of this retreat.

    DOING A CLOSE RETREAT

    • Count 100k mantras of Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka
    • Count 10k mantras with Vajradaka Burning Offering
    • Complete the entire retreat either at KMC FL or at home (all sessions must be done on the same cushion)

    Please note: Although 3 weeks have been set aside to engage in this retreat it is possible to complete the retreat in a much shorter time, depending on individual wishes and capacity.

    DROP IN SESSIONS

    • If you cannot do an entire Close Retreat, but simply count 100k mantras as part of your Guru Yoga Preliminary Guide, you may join the Center during sessions as you are able.

    7-8:30am, 10-11:30am, 4:30-6pm, 7-8:30pm
