Inner Protection – is your mind a safe place?

    Saturday Class in Lakewood Ranch

Every living being seeks protection from both external and internal obstacles. Real protection lies only within our mind, however, with our mind filled with negativity it often does not feel like a safe place.

We must seek refuge – inner protection. Going for refuge means finding inner protection from our problems by developing special Dharma realizations with the help of Buddha’s blessings and the encouragement from our Sangha friends. Through refuge practice, we can protect ourselves directly from fear, anger and find spiritual direction. Gradually, through following this joyful path, our minds become a source of refuge for ourselves and an inspiration for others.

In this Saturday workshop explore the relationship between Buddhist meditation, happiness, and a deeper sense of purpose in your life. Through learning to connect with the natural inner joy we all possess, you can bring great benefit to your own life and become more effective in helping others. In this way, you can uncover great meaning and purpose in your life.

“If we love everyone as a mother loves her dearest child, there will be no basis for any problems to arise because our mind will always be at peace. Love is the real inner protection against suffering.”
