• Living Your Best Life: Mastering Positive Habits

    Friday, February 23rd-Sunday, February 25th, 7:00 pm - 12:15 pm

  • About This Event

In this special weekend event we will explore very accessible and practical Buddhist wisdom, known as the six perfections. The six perfections of giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, concentration, and wisdom are a main practice of a Bodhisattva, someone who has a strong aspiration to fully realize their own human potential in order to benefit others with their every thought and action.  By training in this way, we can create and stabilize new positive mental habits that can transform our life, bring benefit to ourselves and others, and make our own life very happy and meaningful.

For maximum benefit, feel welcome to attend the entire weekend. However, each day is stand-alone in nature, so feel welcome to drop in to what works for you!

Friday: Becoming a Friend of the World

Someone who is kind-hearted and cherishes everyone they meet is an inspiring presence in an often negative world. In this Friday talk, we will learn essential advice to help us awaken and maintain our good heart and, in this way, bring great peace and happiness into our lives.

Saturday: Developing Positive Habits with the 6 Perfections

In this Saturday course we will look at the six perfections giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, concentration, and wisdom. Training in these perfections teaches us practical ways to integrate our love and compassion into daily life and gives us valuable resources to truly benefit ourself and others.
