The Buddhist Way of Loving Kindness
Friday, November 9th, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
About This Event
In this Friday night lecture Gen Kelsang Chodor will give us practical and inspiring advice on how cherishing others leads to a peaceful and happy life. With peace and love in our hearts our relationships become more rewarding and long lasting and we build the foundation for many good qualities to grow such as compassion, tolerance, acceptance, empathy, patience, generosity and kindness. These qualities are essential if our world is to survive these turbulent times.
‘The mind that cherishes others is the supreme good heart. Keeping such a good heart will result only in happiness for our self and all those around us.’ – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
The Friday Night Lecture is also an introduction to the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya on Saturday, November 10th.
