New Years Eve 2022

As Kadampas, we like to start the new year off right – in just the way we mean to continue it…with a peaceful, positive mind and a loving heart.  We take the opportunity to gather together and make our resolutions heartfelt and effective.  How do we do this?

The evening will begin in the meditation room with an inspiring talk with Gen Kelsang Dorje followed by a meditation and prayers to Arya Tara.

We then dedicate our peaceful minds to the welfare of the entire world. The evening will conclude in our World Peace cafe with time to celebrate and enjoy one another’s company over vegan hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages.

This event is taught by Gen Kelsang Dorje. Resident Teacher Gen Dorje has been studying and practicing Buddhism for over 20 years under the guidance of his teacher Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition Gen Dorje is admired for his warmth and humor in making Buddha’s teachings relevant to the modern world. He is an inspiring example of how to integrate Buddha’s teachings into a joyful life.
