• Teacher Training Program

    Thursday, July 12th, 5:15 pm - 9:00 pm

  • About This Event

Our Kadampa Buddhism study programs give people the opportunity to engage in a more in-depth and structured approach to the practices of meditation and Buddhism. Through following traditional methods of study we can gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of Buddha’s teachings, develop a powerful meditation practice, and bring about a positive transformation in our mind. The programs can be joined at any point and not necessarily at the beginning of a new course. The Teacher Training Program is for those people who wish to build a solid foundation and experience of Buddhist teachings – including karma, life after death, impermanence, loving kindness, compassion and wisdom and who wish to become qualified Kadampa Buddhist Teachers.

This course is taught by Gen Chodor. Our resident teacher, Kelsang Chodor, is a western Buddhist Monk. Ordained in 2001, he is a close disciple of Geshe-la and has studied and practised Buddhism for many years. He is much loved for his relaxed and gentle nature and teaches with great clarity, insight and wisdom, skilfully guiding people to inner peace and happiness in their lives.
