• Time To Get Real – Buddhist Perspective on the Nature of Reality

    Friday, August 30th, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

  • About This Event

Everyone is welcome to join us in this special Friday Night Lecture exploring the question – “What is the true nature of our reality and why should we care?”. In general, we believe the world is solid and real, existing outside and separate from our mind. However, 2,500 years ago, Buddha discovered that the world is not as real as we think and that in truth it is just an appearance to mind, like a dream. Through using the tool of meditation we can realize the dream like nature of our world, stop grasping at the world as real, and experience profound inner peace and mental freedom.
