    In this meditation class we will learn about Buddhist meditation practices that help us to keep a happy mind in the face of difficult situations.  Through training in these tried and tested techniques we can find greater harmony with ourself, other people, and the world around us.

    This course is based upon Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s book “How To Solve Our Human Problems”. This book is packed with practical advice on how we can transform lifes adversities into powerful causes of positive minds such patience, compassion, and wisdom.

    “When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations, we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem, but in reality whatever problems we experience come from the side of the mind. If we were to respond to difficult situations with a peaceful and positive mind they would not be problems for us. We may even regard them as challenges or opportunities for growth. Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind.
