    Wednesday, September 12th, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

  • About This Event

On Wednesday, September 12th, 6:30 – 8 pm, we will be holding a special introduction to our Foundation Program in meditation. You are invited to attend this free introductory evening and subsequent free Foundation Program sampler class on September 19th (6:30 – 8:30 pm).

    What is Foundation Program?

The Foundation Program course gives people the opportunity to engage in a more in-depth and structured approach to the practices of meditation and Buddhism. Through following traditional methods of study we can gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of Buddha’s teachings, develop a powerful meditation practice, and bring about a positive transformation in our mind.

On Wednesday, September 26th (for those who have enrolled on the program), we will begin to study a new book called “Universal Compassion”. This book gives a practical and uplifting step by step explanation on how we can transform our mind from a negative state into a positive state through training our mind in the meditations on love, compassion, and wisdom. We will also learn how we can transform our day-to-day lives -including even the most demanding and difficult situations – into opportunities for personal and spiritual development.

The Foundation Program is for those people who wish to build a solid foundation and experience of Buddhist teachings – including karma, life after death, impermanence, loving kindness, compassion and wisdom. The duration of study of the book Universal Compassion will be approximately six – eight months.

    Cost of Foundation Program

After the free introduction and sampler class, enrolling on Foundation Program (FP) costs $65 per month. FP Membership includes the weekly FP class and free access to all our drop-in classes at KMC Florida. FP Members also receive discounts on many of our meditation retreats.

Register today to attend our no obligation free introductory class on September 12th and subsequent sampler class on September 19th. We look forward to meeting you!
