  • About This Event

Following the opening of the Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Arizona and International Fall Festival, KMC Florida will be hosting a Post Festival Meditation Retreat with internationally renowned Buddhist Meditation Teacher, Kadam Bridget Heyes.

The retreat will focus on the meditations from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s latest book, The Mirror of Dharma. This book reveals a series of heartfelt meditations taught by Buddha that awaken our loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom, and enable us reach our highest spiritual goals. They are steeped in Buddhist wisdom and are perfectly suited to modern life – helping us to build a foundation of inner peace within our busy & often stressful lives.

This retreat is open to everyone and is ideal for those looking for an inspiring, enjoyable, and practical explanation to Buddhist meditation and philosophy. The retreats include practical instructions, guided meditations, Q & A, and food and refreshments. In between sessions there is time to relax, rest, and spend time with like minded friends in our Cafe. The peaceful surroundings of KMC Florida help people to create a comfortable space within their own minds.
