Gen Kelsang Gomlam

Gen Kelsang Gomlam is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Florida. She has been studying, practicing and teaching Kadam Dharma for many years. Gen Gomlam’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth and humor, making them accessible to everyone. Through her loving kindness, sincere concern for others, and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Gomlam provides an inspiring example of someone who has taken Buddha’s teachings to heart.

Samir Hanna

Samir has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for several years, is a student in our Teacher Training Program, and has recently started teaching meditation classes at KMC Florida. He provides clear and joyful teachings on how to practice meditation and the Buddhist way of life.

Elizabeth Barrett

Elizabeth has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for over 10 years and is a senior student at KMC Florida. Elizabeth teaches through her own experience and provides great encouragement in practicing Dharma.

Kelsang Varahi

Kelsang Varahi has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for many years, is the current Meditation Room Manager, and is one of our lunchtime meditation class teachers. She truly practices what she teaches, and uses Dharma in her everyday life to create inner peace while helping others.

Kelsang Gewang

Kelsang Gewang has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for many years and also manages the bookstore at our center. She is known for her sincerity, enthusiasm and wish to deeply practice and share Buddha’s teachings.

Sandy Tracey

Sandy has been a student of Kadampa Buddhism for about 20 years and has taught workshops as well as children‘s classes. She offers a practical approach to applying Buddha’s teachings in daily life and inspires connections within the sangha community.

Krista McGuire

Krista has been a student of Kadampa Buddhism for many years and currently teaches the kids meditation class on Sundays. She brings a compassionate energy to help others spread more love and peace in this world according to Buddha’s teachings.

Trina Schwartz

Trina has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for several years. She is a student in our Foundation Program. Trina is known for her positive attitude, boundless energy and for putting the teachings into practice and sharing her personal examples interwoven with Buddha’s Teachings.
