This Halloween join us for a unique morning of meditation and contemplation at Palms Memorial Park at Fruitville and Honore.
Guided by Buddhist nun, Gen Lhadron, we will explore the meaning of death and impermanence, not as something to fear, but as a powerful reminder to make the most of our precious human life. Together, we will receive contemplations to reflect on, then wander quietly to find a gravestone that speaks to us. Sitting amongst the graves, we will use the setting around us as a support for meditation, contemplating questions such as: What does our death mean? What happens after we die? What were the concerns that fill days and what is really important? How can contemplating death be a powerful tool for our well being?
No previous meditation experience is necessary. Come with an open mind and a willingness to contemplate life’s most meaningful questions.
